Renovating the first floor of the Maebashi Brick Warehouse for Tsujihan, a kaisen seafood restaurant based in Nihonbashi. We aimed for a design that not only has the traditional Japanese elements of the other locations, but also harmonizes with the building's exterior. Design details bridge the identities of Tsujihan and surrounding Maebashi– the window screens reflect the brick pattern of the facade, and the order-made interior tiles, which have been specially glazed on what is typically the back of the tile, each carry unique expressions.
