Renovation of an apartment in Ryogoku. The client, who is a gallerist, asked for a home with wall space for hanging art, and a layout that allows occupants to feel the presence of others in the home, even if they are in separate rooms. By inserting five free-standing gallery walls in a large one-room apartment, we achieved a loosely divided space.
